Most Affordable Switzerland in the World - Northern Pakistan

Who isn't fed up with the chaotic lives of our cities? Who doesn't want an escape from the noisy and polluted concrete jungles? I don't think there are any who would reply in affirmative to these questions. Almost all of us want a retreat. Some head to beach, some head to the jungles and some want to vanish in the mountains. But there is a catch:

Do you have the money?

 You want to go to the beach? The far-east countries have you covered at a minimal cost. Want a jungle trip? South Africa and other African nations will get you everything in lowest prices. But what about the mountains? The snow peaks, glaciers, valleys and rivers; all of them remind us of Switzerland. But is it even an option for most of us? The answer is probably a 'no' and the reason is again: 'money'. It's sheer expensive!

 However we will tell you how you can experience Switzerland for a fraction.
How much does it cost to vacation in Switzerland?

 US $250 per night for two persons. It is the average amount for a 2 or 3 star hotel you get in major tourist destinations in Switzerland when searching on a famous hotel booking site. For those with higher stars, you can expect twice this figure. Sometimes thrice.

 Go ahead further, the local traveling, the food and the rest... It all goes up-to US $350 per day comfortably. That's what an average day of travel will cost two of you when visiting the magnificent heaven we know as Switzerland. There's a reason many regard it as the most expensive travel destination.
That makes an staggering US $3,500 for a 10 day trip! If that's in your reach, if you make a hefty sum of money every year, well and good. What if it's not? What if you don't make that much amount? It doesn't matter! Go ahead and pack your bags: we have you covered. We have you covered even better. We have you covered in the most affordable Switzerland in the world. We have you covered in Pakistan!

But, what does Pakistan gotta to do with Switzerland?

 Switzerland has snow peaks, Pakistan has double the height. Pakistan has 5 of the top 14! Switzerland has glaciers, Pakistan has one of the world's largest outside polar region. Switzerland gives you starry nights so does Northern Pakistan. We will also do a picture comparison later.

Be they lakes, flowery meadows and plains, glittering night skies, mesmerizing sunsets, grassland valleys or fast flowing rivers; if Switzerland of Europe has it, its twin in Asia has made sure it does too. And that too at a fraction of that cost.

Okay, how much does it cost to travel in Northern Pakistan?

 How does it sound paying something around US $40 per night for a nice spacious room for two? How does it sound traveling for a mere $10 per person for hundreds of miles on the road? And if that's a group, the per person cost comes down to half. Food expense? Pakistan grows its food and exports around the world so you can expect it at the cheapest. How does it sound to have a filling dinner for $4 to $6 per person at a decent restaurant? And a maximum of $15 at a high end dine out.

 A full day of traveling to exquisite destinations, mouthwatering food and a nice hotel will cost you something between US $70 and $100 depending on the quality of services you get. And it's for two persons! Make it a 10 day trip and you end up spending no more than $1000 for two, $500 for one on a simple trip! Want a 5 star trip? A full luxury trip will still not exceed $2500 for two.

 How does US $1000 compare to the US $3,500 we were deliberating for Switzerland? That's more than 70% discount! In other words, you pay just 30% of what you are supposed to spend in Switzerland? Ain't that an awe-inspiring deal? Thinking of an air ticket? From most of the countries in the world, due to geographical location, a ticket to Pakistan will be cheaper than a ticket to Switzerland.  But... How safe is Pakistan?

 When the topic is Switzerland of Asia, we are focusing on the area known as Northern Pakistan. We are shedding light on Himalayas, Karakoram and Hindukush. We are concentrating on lush green valleys, meadows, rivers, snow clad mountains - and amazing hospitality.

Hospitality is an emotion. An expression. An expression of peoples' desire to make you feel better. Through comfort, through safety, through food - the locals of Northern Pakistan make sure to treat you as royalty.

 Pakistan is a fast emerging tourist destination as peace returns after a few years of issues. Today Pakistan faces lesser crime than USA and many other countries of the world. That's why it's said that anyone who comes to Pakistan cries twice. One before coming, because of the unnecessary fear, and the second time before going: the unmatched hospitality makes them not wanna go back!

 Just recently the British Backpacker Society named Pakistan the top adventure travel destination for its amazing views and hospitality.

The European beauty is indeed wonderful and its not easy to compare two places so far apart, but then there is a reason they call northern Pakistan 'Switzerland of Asia'.
